Join our resident local area forums

Resident local area forums are made up of residents who volunteer to work together alongside local stakeholders and Paragon staff, to improve their neighbourhoods and shape our services.

What do the forums do?

We work closely with residents to address local issues, ranging from loneliness in the older population, to inclusion opportunities for disabled residents to things like fly tipping and dog fouling. Forum volunteers also work with the resident council, as well as tenancy services officers, inspecting our estates and suggesting improvements.

Each group works closely with the resident involvement team by attending local events, workshops and meetings. Residents also go on a tour of their local area to share what they like about where they live, and what they’d like to improve. The group works to identify local needs and priorities and with support from the RI team and elected chairperson, they are encouraged to lead projects to make the changes they would like to see.

We’re excited to have launched four area forums so far and hope this number will grow to cover other areas.

Residents based in Hampton, Hampton Hill, Teddington, Whitton, Richmond and Twickenham can sign up.

Residents from the New Malden and Kingston areas as well as across the river from the Dittons and Esher are welcome.

Covers residents from the Elmbridge and Runnymede boroughs, including residents from Weybridge, Cobham and Addlestone.

For all residents from the Elmbridge borough including Walton and Hersham.

For the dates of the next forum in your area, please keep your eye on the events on the homepage, as we'll post upcoming forums a couple of weeks before they happen.

If you would like to join any of our existing forums, or to discuss creating a new forum, please contact Simon Martin or Melissa Lacide from the resident involvement team on 01932 235962 or
