Rent Statements

Quarterly rent statements are sent out in January, April, July and October.

Your rent statement lists:

  • your weekly gross rent
  • any housing benefit payments
  • the payments you have made since your last statement
  • any other adjustments
  • the balance on your account

If your rent account is in credit* because you have overpaid, you can request a refund. We will check your account and, where appropriate, will confirm the credit with the housing benefit department. If the credit is correct, then we can arrange for the balance to be refunded to you. Alternatively, you can leave it on your account to clear future rent due. 

*Please note a full calendar month's credit is retained on the rent account for monthly payers and a minimum of one week's rent for weekly payers.
