Are you looking for work?

We continually launch new initiatives to help our residents develop skills they need to get into work. We are also supporting apprenticeship schemes.

Are you looking for financial help to get back into work?

It sounds strange, but it can often cost money to get back into work. For example, you want to work but you can’t afford to get to the interview, or you need a qualification to work but it costs too much money to get it.

Even when you are back into work, the first few weeks can be really expensive. You might have to pay for travelling to work everyday or having to buy special clothes like overalls or work boots.

We know that it’s a worry but we can help. We have launched a new scheme called “The Back To Work Fund” (B2WF) which has been designed to help solve this problem.
If you are looking for work or just got back into work apply to the B2WF for a grant (you won’t have to pay us back). All that we ask is that you provide us with proof for what the money has been used for, for example, a copy of a completed course or qualification or receipts for purchases made.

To apply call us on 01932 235830 or email welfarebenefits@paragonchg.co.uk and type “b2wf” in the subject box.

The ETHOS Project

With the Government’s changes to welfare benefits, if you are of working age you will be better off if you have a job and you can earn money yourself. Sometimes it can be difficult and intimidating to know where to start. We can help.

We are working in partnership with The ETHOS Project to provide job workshops and one-to-one appointments with qualified careers advisors as well as support.

You can refer yourself for the project via this referral form or for further information can contact Philippa Secretan at psecretan@surreyllp.org.uk or on 07715 656 745.
